Lara Dutta

Lara Dutta is the crowned miss Universe in year 2000 which was held in Cyprus. Lara Dutta was born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India on April 6, 1978. Her dad is a retired Wing Commander L.K. Dutta, while her mom, Jennifer, is half Scottish and half Indian lady. She also has 2 older sisters. She also appointed as the UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador in 2001. Dutta also won the annual Gladsrags modeling competition in her native India, thus winning the right to be the first Indian representative at the 1997 Miss Intercontinental, in which she took first place. Later, she was crowned Femina Miss India Universe too. She has acted in many films too. She won the Filmfare award for the best female debut in year 2003 for her first film Andaaz.
