Kareena Kapoor

Kareena is the sister of legendary Bollywood actress "Karishma Kapoor". She entered to the Bollywood cinema with her superb debut acting in the film "Refugee" in 2000.Kareena Randhir Kapoor was born on 21 September 1980 in Mumbai. Her father is the Punjabi Randhir Kapoor, an actor and her mother is Babitha, a Sindhi. Her parents separated when she was quite young. Her family tree reads like the who’s who of Bollywood. Her great grandfather is Prithviraj Kapoor and her grandfather is Raj Kapoor. Her uncles are Rishi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor, while her maternal aunt is Sadhana.

Now Kareena is one of the laeding actresses in Indian cinema. She has acted in nearly 40 films & has won many awards for her performance.Her 5th film "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... "became India's highest-grossing film in the overseas marketin 2001. Her won the FilmFare award for the best female debut for Refugee in 2000. Then in 2007 she won the FilmFare award for the best actress for her acting in "Jab We Met". In 2009 She became the best supporting actress for "We Are A Family". She has nominated for the best actress award for many times too.
